The construction has begun on The Steward's House in the Grand Traverse Commons. Dr. Munson, the Superintendant, commissioned the project in 1896 for the sum of $2,500 to be the residence of the Steward for The State Hospital. A small addition is going on the north end but everything else is being updated with the character and history taking precedance. The house is located at 420 S. Division so drive by and watch the progression! Check back for updated pictures of the renovation!
