Northern Home & Cottage - Traverse Area Tour 2019

On October 19th, Kitchen Choreography will be
participating in the Northern Home & Cottage Tour that takes place
throughout Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Northport and Glen Arbor. We will be
featuring two gorgeous homes this time around and as per usual, offering some
tasty treats. This should be around peak time for fall colors so it’s a great
opportunity to drive around some of the prettiest sights while getting a chance
to take an inside look at breathtaking homes!

Our first home on the tour is home #9 which is termed as “Family Condo, the Next Gen.” This is a great example of a remodel that was done completely by Kitchen Choreography. The condo was first purchased in the 1980s by the homeowner’s family and overlooks Sleeping Bear Bay, Sleeping Bear Point, and the Manitou Islands. When the condo was officially purchased by the homeowners from their family in 2017, it called for a new look and a chance to open up the layout to fully enjoy not only the inside, but to take advantage of the view outside. Once some walls were taken down, the entry and kitchen had the opportunity to feel larger and give more functionality. With a brand new kitchen, flooring and updated bathrooms, the result is a bright, cheery space that accentuates the surrounding view.
